The Legend Of The Fried Marble

 Our life is somehow just like this fried marble.  When you look at a regular clear marble, you see through the marble like it is just a clear piece of glass.  You heat the marble until it is almost liquid in the middle.  That heat represents the trials in our lives.  It seems that Satan comes into our lives, turns up the heat, and tries to melt down everything that Christ has built up in our lives.  Sometimes we feel like we are just going to break into a million pieces.  It is like if one more thing happens we will explode.

You will notice the marble that is broken and shattered inside, yet it is being held together by an outside force that you can’t even see.  That force represents God’s strength in our lives.  You will also notice that when you hold the marble to bright light, it reflects all different colors, and it is beautiful.  That is what Christ does for us.  He takes all that Satan throws at us when he tries to break us down and makes it beautiful.
